History of Measurements

      In this project we had to work on groups of two. I worked with Shanay Chambers. First we research the history of measurement. Then we began to created our PowerPoint. In it we answer the nine questions that our teacher gave us. After we were done with added sound, animation, and pictures. Another part of this project was to create a CD cover which we did. We also had to answer some conclusion questions in our Engineering's Notebook. After this we finish with our project. Here  are some pictures:

Evolution of the submarine

           For this project we had to research a product's history and then develop a PowerPoint presentation and write our findings our any ideas we got while doing our research on our Engineering’s notebook. We had to do this in teams. My team member was Angel Fernandez. We decide to research submarines. We began by looking for sites that could tell us what we needed to know. Then we began our PowerPoint. When we were done with it we add sound, picture, and animations. Last we had answered some conclusion questions on our Engineering’s notebook and then present our PowerPoint to our class so that our teacher could grade us on our presentation.

Beverage Container

             In this activity we were told to work in groups. My group members were Shanay Chambers and Angel Fernandez. We were told to change a plain white coffee cup so that nearly every consumer would want to purchase one. First, we began by brainstorming ideas about how we could innovate it. Like Shanay's idea was to add an adjustable handle and Angel's ideas were to make the inside of the cup of some sort of metal or plastic so that the drink will stay cold or hot, also a top that will never spill, and last for people to bring a picture or design to put on their cup. My idea was to add a pocket for cookies on the side of the cup. Second, we drew them on our Engineering's Notebook so that we could see how they would look. Third, we try to put them together and Finally we came up with our perfect coffee cup then we create a poster to present our coffee cup. Here are some pictures!
